1948 when Lidoino Castellan, founder of SIDEA and father of the current owners, ventured into the challenging yet captivating profession of
“spice trader”.
Passion, intuition and professionalism led him to an in-depth knowledge of the raw materials and their characteristics, which he was then to put into use with great success across the most wide-ranging sectors of the food industry.
The company, which is the outcome of the owner’s expertise, is well-established today;
his sons who are modern and dynamic managers, focus on continuous improvement, in line with the basic values that have always driven SIDEA.
